Homesewn Christmas Decorations

This week while putting up my Christmas "stuff" I realized that I have many homesewn
"Christmas ghosts"
from my past, present and future.
My grandchildren stockings are cowboy and cowgal themed. I am speculating for--my son-in-law's sake-- that Natalie will have a boy in June: Our Christmas future ghost? Ha! How many stockings will I end up with over the next few years? I need to add names but I am not sure how. Any suggestions? I want to keep these simple.
Christmas Past Ghosts Below 6
Above we have the original family Christmas stockings. I am amazed at how well they showcase the crafting trends over the last 30 years. My sewing abilities have improved as well--Evan's name cuff was put on upside down. (The pattern for these stockings disappeared two houses ago and reappeared last year when I cleaned out my work room.)
We made placemats in R.S. a few years ago. Thanks Diane M. who headed up the class. Karen H. did you ever finish this project??????

I made this Christmas Tree skirt at Homemaking about 20 years ago. I drag it out every year. Marta B. said she has one too. Anyone else have one like this?
This really ugly and really worn advent calendar has decorated our home for 30 years. I have made and remade it several times. Maybe a
Christmas Present Ghost
will motivate me to make something new.
Now, I want to see some of your homesewn Christmas decorations!!
Send me pictures!! e

Peppermint Candy Christmas Quilt

Stephanie R. uses a red and white peppermint candy theme to decorate her home for Christmas. This newly finished quilt will just hit the spot for the upcoming season or anytime!! Thanks for the pictures Steph!!

Note that this quilt looks to be as nice on the back as on the front.
